The auditor checks whether the systemfulfils the requirements of the standard.An additional energy management system wasimplemented in conjunction with an external BAFAenergy audit in accordance with EN 16247-1. Our carbonfootprint is just as important to us. We have thereforecommissioned Fokus Zukunft GmbH & Co KG to determinethe level of our company's greenhouse gas emissionsaccording to Scope 1 - 3 (categories 3.2 - 3.7) inaccordance with the GHG (Greenhouse Gas Protocol)and have set ourselves the goal of significantly reducingthem through suitable measures (e.g. switching toe-mobility).Recycling and reuseWe support our customers in the disposal ofold beds that are no longer required. Our nursingbeds have a recycling rate of 98% and consistof 40% recycled material.From print to e-paperIn recent years, we have significantly reduced the numberof printed brochures and also optimised the number ofproduct versions. These measures have enabled us toavoid using large quantities of paper and thus savevaluable resources.In order to fulfil this claim, wissner-bosserhoff iscommitted to corporate sustainability managementin order to positively influence the development ofsociety in addition to the direct development of thecompany. Our strong sense of responsibility andcommitment to the environment drive us to deliverthe best possible solutions to our customers.We also stand firmly by our employees and suppliers inimplementing resource-saving and sustainable practices.The Brundtland Report published by the United NationsCommission of Experts in 1987 formulates the guidingprinciple of sustainability as development that meetsthe needs of the present generation without restrictingthe opportunities of future generations.Low stand-by consumptionEA constant power supply for nursing beds is extremelyimportant in day-to-day care.
